CR Jackson, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Loader Operator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting asphalt plant operations, material handling, and construction projects by safely and efficiently operating front-end loaders and related equipment.
We are looking for individuals with equipment operating experience who take pride in their work, prioritize safety, and work well as part of a team.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate front-end loaders to load trucks, feed asphalt plants, and move materials.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Stockpile, blend, and manage aggregates and other materials.
- Maintain safe traffic flow around plant and jobsite operations.
- Load materials accurately and efficiently while minimizing waste.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Communicate effectively with truck drivers, plant personnel, supervisors, and crew members.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other plant and construction operations as needed.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating front-end loaders or similar heavy equipment preferred.
- Experience in asphalt, aggregate, mining, construction, or related industries preferred.
- Ability to safely work around trucks, equipment, and active construction operations.
- Strong attention to safety and equipment care.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
