Job Description
C&M Affordable Fence, LLC is seeking a dependable, hardworking Fence Installer to join our team. We install residential and commercial wood, chain-link, vinyl, ornamental, and specialty fencing throughout Northwest Louisiana.
This is an outdoor, physically demanding position. Applicants must be dependable, willing to work as part of a crew, and able to follow instructions.
Transportation Requirement
Reliable personal transportation is an absolute requirement. Employees must be able to report to the designated meeting location or jobsite on time every scheduled workday. Applicants who depend on rides from coworkers or supervisors will not be considered.
Responsibilities
● Install wood, chain-link, vinyl, ornamental, and other fencing
● Measure and lay out fence lines accurately
● Dig and prepare post holes
● Set posts and mix or pour concrete
● Install fence panels, pickets, runners, gates, and hardware
● Load and unload tools and materials
● Safely operate hand tools and power tools
● Keep jobsites clean, organized, and safe
● Follow instructions from the crew foreman
● Represent the company professionally around customers and their property
Qualifications
● Reliable personal transportation is required
● Fence installation or construction experience is preferred
● Willingness to train may be considered for dependable applicants
● Must be punctual and available to work Monday through Friday
● Ability to follow measurements and instructions
● Ability to work effectively as part of a team
● Comfortable working outdoors in Louisiana heat, cold, and changing weather
● Ability to safely lift and carry up to 80 pounds
● Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical labor throughout the workday
● Must take pride in producing quality work
● Must maintain a professional attitude around customers and coworkers
