What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Services Account Manager position at C&K Industrial Services, Inc.?
Join a team where client service, operational excellence, and relationship management come together to drive success.
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Industrial Services Account Manager to serve as the key liaison between our company and designated clients or plant sites. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring smooth communication, effective project execution, and exceptional service delivery.
This is a boots-on-the-ground position based at the client’s plant site. It’s ideal for someone who prefers being active in the field over sitting in an office all day. You’ll work closely with both our internal teams and the client to manage day-to-day operations, address issues in real time, and ensure services are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with client expectations.
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy building relationships, and excel at coordinating across multiple departments, this could be the right fit for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong relationships and a high level of service satisfaction
- Oversee all aspects of project coordination, including scheduling, staffing, site access, and performance tracking
- Collaborate with operations, field staff, dispatch, billing, and safety teams to align service delivery with client needs
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor job progress and ensure alignment with safety and performance standards
- Address and resolve client concerns promptly, working across internal departments to support resolution
- Assist with pricing coordination, scope changes, documentation, and reporting
- Track client-specific KPIs and prepare internal and external reports to support transparency and continuous improvement
- Support account-related team coaching and participate in internal meetings with leadership and cross-functional departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Studies, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management, customer service, or project coordination
- At least 2 years in a client-facing or operational role with a proven ability to manage expectations and drive results
- Strong knowledge of customer service principles and project coordination best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with CRM or project tracking tools preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience in environmental services, field operations, or industrial services is a plus
