Janitorial Supervisor

Compensation: $21/hr. and up Depending on Experience

Overview:

The Janitorial Supervisor will lead the effort to maintain a clean and safe environment at our Auburn facility. The role encompasses a mix of leadership, training and operational management. This position is essential for ensuring that cleanliness standards are met and maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the work activities of janitorial staff, assigning duties and inspecting their work to ensure quality standards are met
• Creating staff schedules, training new employees in cleaning methods and procedures and conducting performance reviews
• Engaging with various Cleaning and Service providers to order cleaning supplies/equipment and maintain the First Aid Kits/Safety Cabinets
• Acting as a liaison between janitorial staff and management, effectively communicating any issues or needs that arise
• Preparing reports on staff performance and operational efficiency and addressing any complaints or maintenance issues
• Will maintain proper HMIS labeling program and SDS sheets for the janitorial area in collaboration with the HSE department
• Conduct weekly Fire Riser Inspections

Qualifications:

• The ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring that all staff members are performing their duties effectively.
• A strong understanding of various cleaning methods, equipment and safety protocols.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff and management.
• The ability to plan, schedule and coordinate cleaning operations efficiently.
• Previous Supervisory experience in a similar role, preferred.
