PURPOSE OF POSITON
Responsible for ensuring all food service operations within our convenience stores are executed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and food safety standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining consistency, quality, and compliance across all deli and food service areas, while also supporting the training and development of store-level food service employees.
Key Responsibilities

- Travel to Byrne Dairy & Deli retail locations throughout NYS
- Provide hands-on training and coaching to Food Service Associates and Managers on best practices for preparation, presentation, and customer service.
- Support new store openings and remodels by assisting with setup, staff training, and initial compliance checks.
- Monitor product quality, portion control, and adherence to company recipes and presentation standards.
- Document and report findings from store visits
- Promote a culture of food safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence across all stores.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2–3 years of food service or restaurant experience, preferably in a convenience store or quick-service environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards (ServSafe certification preferred)
- Proven ability to train, motivate, and lead others.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail with strong follow-up and documentation habits.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across locations
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel regularly within assigned region.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate store visits, including some early mornings or weekends.
- Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50lbs
Estimated Salary: $43,500.00 -$46,50.00 annually.
