What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Worker position at Lessing's Food Service Management?
Position: Food Service Worker
Shift Information: Monday though Friday, every other week Monday-Thursday days. 7am-2pm.
Location: Rochester, NY
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble food items according to menu or specialty items
- Store food appropriately while following all food handling and food safety procedures
- Setup and breakdown all work stations as needed
- Provide remarkable customer service to all guests and patrons
- Replenish supplies as needed and notify a manager if we are running low on inventory
- Ensure remarkable hospitality is delivered to each and every guest
- Assist team members at other stations if needed
Qualifications:
- Previous food service experience is strongly preferred.
- Must be a team player with a positive and upbeat attitude.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must feel comfortable standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation.
