Position: Food Service Cook (Floater)
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: 6am-2pm
Some Job Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients.
Prepare and assemble food items according to menu and specialty items, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
Ensure food is prepared to high-quality standards and served simultaneously, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Store food appropriately while following all food handling, nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations.
Clean, organize, and break down workstations, including properly handling leftover food.
Monitor inventory, replenish supplies as needed, and notify a manager when items are running low.
Follow manager instructions and communicate effectively with the kitchen team.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
Provide remarkable hospitality and customer service to all guests and patrons.
Assist team members at other stations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous food service experience is strongly preferred.
- Must be a team player with a positive and upbeat attitude.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must feel comfortable standing for long periods of time.
- Must possess a High School diploma or GED.
- Must have reliable transportation.
