Electrical Engineer – Power Distribution & Industrial Controls

📍 West Jordan, UT | Full-Time | Onsite

We are rapidly growing and looking to hire multiple Electrical Engineers to support increasing customer demand in power distribution and industrial controls. Our company has expanded from 200 to nearly 800 employees in just over two years, and we continue to scale our engineering and manufacturing capabilities to support major projects in the data center and oil & gas industries.

This is an application-focused engineering role—ideal for engineers who enjoy designing real products, working closely with customers, and seeing their designs built on the manufacturing floor.

What You’ll Do:

• Design custom and scalable power distribution solutions, including switchgear and electrical power distribution centers.
• Support application engineering efforts from customer requirements through product design and delivery.
• Work closely with customers, sales, manufacturing, and operations to develop practical, buildable solutions.
• Create and maintain electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Support designs involving medium-voltage systems (up to ~35kV), depending on experience.
• Spend time on the manufacturing floor (up to ~2 hours daily) supporting builds, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Help ramp designs from prototype to full production in a high-growth environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5–15 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in power distribution or industrial controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Mechatronics.
• Strong application engineering and product design experience (hands-on > theoretical).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (basic technical assessment required).
• Experience with medium voltage systems highly valued; familiarity with sync transfer is a plus.
• Comfortable working directly with customers and manufacturing teams.
• Willingness to be hands-on and present on the shop floor.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $110,000–$150,000 base salary, depending on experience.
• Up to $180,000 for candidates with strong medium-voltage expertise.
