The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate receiving, storage, inventory control, and order fulfillment. This role provides leadership to warehouse staff, enforces safety and quality standards, and maintains smooth operational flow on high‑capacity shift days. The schedule for this role consists of two 16‑hour shifts on Sunday and Thursday. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity. Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities during Sunday and Thursday 16‑hour shifts.Oversee receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, and inventory transactions.Monitor workflow Ensure timely and accurate documentation.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.Team Supervision & Development:Lead and coach warehouse associates on assigned shifts.Conduct shift briefings and communicate goals, expectations, and safety reminders.Monitor employee performance and provide coaching or corrective action when needed.Safety & Compliance:Enforce OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and best practices.Conduct safety checks, equipment inspections, and incident investigations.Ensure all staff follow proper PPE, material handling, and operational protocols.Inventory & Reporting:Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation, and proper documentation.Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective measures.Prepare shift reports, productivity summaries, and exception logs.Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.Qualifications:Education & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.3 years of warehouse or distribution experience; 1 years in a leadership role.Experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or high‑volume warehouse settings preferred.Skills & Competencies:Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.Proficiency with WMS systems and Microsoft Office.Excellent leadership, communication, and team‑building skills.Ability to make decisions in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments.Forklift certification a plus.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and work in varying warehouse conditions.Ability to work extended 16‑hour shifts safely and effectively.Preferred Attributes:Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.Dependable, self‑motivated, and proactive.Committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.About BWT Logistics:At BWT, we don’t just move freight—we move with purpose.We’re a trusted nationwide Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider, delivering reliable long and short-haul transportation solutions tailored to meet our customers’ needs.
