What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor position at Ripley Entertainment Inc?
Warehouse Expectations
· Cleanliness and Organization skills
o Maintain current warehouse organization while also creating new methods for incoming/changing stock.
o Clear labeling of all product and inventory zones
o Organization and separation of incoming orders and stock already received.
o Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse and warehouse workspaces.
o Ensure cardboard and garbage are constantly taken out.
· Supervisor’s Duties
o The ability to step into any retail role from (cashier > supervisor > warehouse) as well as other team member roles. (anywhere in the company, as needed)
o The ability to lead multiple team members.
o Maintaining stock levels in the gift shop and warehouse. Ensuring products are readily available as needed.
· System Work
o NetSuite-
§ Receiving Inventory –
· The ability to accurately receive purchase orders from both vendors and the distribution center.
· Report discrepancies to management as issues arise, so they can be addressed in a timely manner.
§ Ticketing-
· Being able to identify what needs to be ticketed and what type of tickets to use.
· Organizing product so it is clear which tickets belong to what item.
§ Staying within your scope of training. Only interact with what you have been trained to do.
o Pricer- Using and understanding the system. The ability to change and install new signs throughout the shop.
o Computers-
§ the ability to use Microsoft office products including excel and word. comfortable using technology and computers.
§ Ability to perform math calculations and read numbers.
· Training will include:
