Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison for customer requirements, forecasts, inquiries, and purchase orders
- Coordinate raw material procurement through resale systems (eRMA) and customer portals to support production needs
- Manage and monitor raw material inventory aligned with customer demand and production schedules
- Develop and maintain accurate product specifications, including chemical and physical property analysis per customer requirements
- Communicate regularly with customers via email and phone to ensure clarity, responsiveness, and satisfaction
- Maintain and update customer documentation, ensuring compliance within OEM portals and systems
- Analyze customer portal data to support forecasting, scheduling, and decision-making
- Forecast material requirements and confirm production schedules in IQMS to meet deadlines and accommodate demand fluctuations
- Coordinate product trials and engineering changes across Customer, Quality, and Production teams
- Support cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Inside Sales and a proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on ensuring Customer Satisfaction
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally
- Experience in Order Processing with attention to accuracy and adherence to timelines
- Strong background in steel and/or metal processing
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage sales processes effectively
- Experience working with OEM customer portals
- Familiarity with EAI systems
- High School Diploma/GED, college preferred.
- Previous experience in the manufacturing or automotive sectors
