Salary Schedule 04CD, Range 4, $24.22 - $30.90 per hour. This position is exempt from overtime. Annual stipend pay: Master's $1,200 or Doctorate $2,000 per year (Prorated upon hire).
Length of Work Year
7.5 hours per day/12 months/224 days annually (Prorated upon hire) Approximately 7 extra duty days throughout the year.

This position qualifies for CalSTRS retirement. The employee contribution rate for CalSTRS is either 10.25% or 10.205% of monthly earnings depending on the membership date.

Job Summary

Permit Information A valid and unexpired Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher-level permit is required. Alternatively, applicants may submit proof of eligibility for the Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or higher-level permit. To be considered, upload transcripts showing all ECE/CD coursework. If selected for hire, the applicant will work with BCOE Credentials to apply.

  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three letters of recommendation required, current letters preferred)
  • Other (Evidence of appropriate permit authorization by one of the following: Copy of Child Development Associate Teacher Permit – Teacher or higher-level permit, OR Copies of all transcripts with ECE/CD coursework to show eligibility for required permit and willingness to obtain (copies of degrees are not sufficient; please attach all relevant transcripts))
