We are a locally owned BBQ, Bar, and Grill in south Reno seeking 2 Counter Servers to join our team. We are looking for lunch and dinner shifts and possibly some breakfast. We run an average of a 6 hour shifts but you may be asked to work 8. We are open from 7am to 8pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday - Saturday. Everyone gets Sundays off! We offer a whole house daily tip pool(plus catering), Bussers, cooks, and dishwashers included, witch adds an extra $6-$10 and hour on top of your base salary. Base Salary starts at $16 plus tip pool. We pay weekly via direct deposit and all tips go on your weekly check. Applicants must be 18 years or older, but 21 is preferred as we have a bar. Reliable transportation is a must!

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Process cash and card transactions efficiently while ensuring proper cash handling and register operations.
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including assembling orders and maintaining food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sanitation of counters, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Support food service operations by bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring quick service delivery.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow proper procedures for food handling and sanitation protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation, food safety management, and handling food industry standards.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Good math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail sales transactions.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace in accordance with sanitation standards.
