Position Overview:
The Daycare Assistant / Floater plays a key support role across classrooms, assisting lead teachers, supervising children, and maintaining a clean and organized learning environment. This flexible position requires someone who enjoys working with different age groups and can adapt easily throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in caring for children ages [6 weeks to 8 years]
- Supervise playtime, meals, naps, and activities
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
- Step in as needed in various classrooms (infant, toddler, or preschool)
- Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents
- Follow all health and safety protocols and center policies
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children (preferred but not required)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and a passion for working with kids!
