Inspire Learning and Childcare is seeking a qualified childcare center director who meets New York State OCFS licensing requirements to lead one of our thriving centers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Serve as the designated director on the childcare center license in accordance with NYS OCFS regulations.
- Oversee daily operations, staffing, and classroom quality.
- Ensure full compliance with OCFS regulations and licensing standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of early childhood educators.
- Build strong, professional relationships with families.
- Maintain accurate documentation, incident reporting, and staff records.
- Foster a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
- Center marketing and community outreach
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring, onboarding and career opportunities for all incoming staff members.
- Responsible for staff satisfaction and engagement while teaming up with the Assistant Director.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS PER OCFS
- Must meet NYS OCFS Director qualifications to be listed on a childcare center license.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (or related credentials per OCFS)
- Required experience in a childcare center including supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of OCFS regulations, compliance and licensing expectations.
- Leadership experience in a childcare setting preferred.
