Sterile Processing Technician / Coordinator β Contract-to-Hire
π Location: Long Beach, CA
πΌ Job Type: 13-Week Contract (Contract-to-Hire)
β³ Start Date: ASAP
π° Pay Rate: $31β$36 per hour
π Hours: 40 hours per week
Available Shifts
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM β 11:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM β 7:30 AM
(Flexible shift options available)
Job Responsibilities
- Perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment (autoclaves, washers, ultrasonic cleaners, etc.)
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
- Maintain inventory of sterile and non-sterile supplies
- Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure timely instrument availability
- Follow all safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent Sterile Processing Technician experience
- Minumum 2 years of recent Supervisor experience
- CRCST or CBSPD/CSPDT certification required
