Hourly Pay Rate: $60/hour - $62/hr.
Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week (5 days x 8 hours)
Weekly Gross: Up to $2,500/week
Location: Camden, ME
Job Type: 14 week contract, with possible extension
Schedule: Day shift

Role Description
The Nursing Manager/RN Unit Manager – Skilled Nursing position is a contract, on-site role based in Camden, ME. In this role, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a skilled nursing unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, compliance with healthcare regulations, and effective team collaboration. Your responsibilities will include supervising nursing staff, developing care plans, coordinating patient treatments, and maintaining optimal health and safety standards. You will foster a positive environment for patients and staff while ensuring critical and timely patient care under established practices.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Nursing, Nursing Management, and Patient Care to ensure high-quality service delivery and effective team leadership.
- Proficient knowledge of Critical Care Medicine and Medicine to manage complex medical cases and provide expert guidance where necessary.
- Proven ability to ensure effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented understanding of healthcare regulations, patient care standards, and safety protocols.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing and relevant certifications (e.g., Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills for managing unit operations effectively.
