Work Schedule: Onsite – Monday through Friday || 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime may be required)
Pay rate: 24.46 -26.69/hr on W2 Without benefits
Position Summary
The Electro-Mechanical Technician I is responsible for assembling, wiring, and modifying electro-mechanical components and control panels according to engineering drawings and schematics. This role supports manufacturing and assembly operations by ensuring high-quality workmanship, compliance with industry standards, and adherence to established work procedures.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assemble components onto panels and into enclosures following mechanical layout and assembly drawings with zero deficiencies.
- Perform wiring of components according to electrical schematics, established guidelines, and work standards.
- Complete minor modifications to metal panels and enclosures, including cutting, drilling, and tapping.
- Ensure all assemblies meet quality, safety, and engineering specifications.
- Follow manufacturing processes and maintain documentation as required.
- Support production timelines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline OR a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge of control panel assembly and electrical wiring.
- Familiarity with UL508A standards.
- Willingness to learn new products, tools, and manufacturing processes.
