What You'll Be Doing
You will be responsible for sourcing and closing new sponsorship partnerships for Bushwick Film Festival. This includes identifying prospective sponsors, conducting outreach, presenting our media kit, negotiating agreements, and closing deals.
Who We're Looking For
- 2 years of experience in sponsorship sales, brand partnerships, media sales, or experiential marketing
- Proven track record of closing deals and meeting sales targets
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a commission-based role
- Passion for film, culture, independent media, or the nonprofit space is a strong plus
- Existing relationships with brand marketing or partnership teams is a major plus
- Experience working with festivals, nonprofits, or cultural institutions is preferred but not required
Salary/Benefits

Founded in 2007, the Bushwick Film Festival (BFF) is a recognized independent film festival in Brooklyn, dedicated to creating a home for independent cinema and spotlighting emerging storytellers. Now in its 19th year, BFF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and MWBE-certified organization, contributing to the borough's artistic and economic growth. Each October, the festival welcomes over 5,000 attendees for six days of screenings, panels, comedy nights, live music, and award ceremonies, while serving approximately 7,000 people year-round through in-person and digital programming.
