Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Manager – Analytics Solutions to lead consulting-style analytics engagements within our pharmacy services business. This is a new and growing line of business launching from 0–1, providing analytical solutions and data science-driven insights to pharmaceutical clients. The Senior Manager will oversee a pod of data scientists, manage cross-functional delivery, and translate analytical outputs into executive-ready insights that inform client strategy. The ideal candidate brings consulting experience, strong storytelling ability, and the capacity to manage multiple high-impact analytics projects concurrently.

This role focuses on the consulting-based analytics revenue stream, partnering directly with pharmaceutical clients to deliver insight-driven solutions that generate measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead consulting-style analytics projects for pharmaceutical clients, overseeing delivery, structure, and presentation of insights.
• Partner with internal data science pods to translate modeling outcomes into business narratives and actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate across product, data, and business teams to manage priorities and ensure timely delivery.
• Develop and present analytical deliverables (PowerPoint, Excel, and visualization tools) that connect data-driven findings to client goals.
• Implement and manage project cadences, governance frameworks, and sprint structures for analytic engagements.
• Identify opportunities to scale existing Caremark data assets into repeatable analytics solutions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in interpreting and communicating data science results to executive audiences.
  
  

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or quantitative field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience:
• 5–10 years total experience, including 3 years in consulting or analytics delivery and 2 years partnering with data science or data engineering teams.
• Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of data science concepts and ability to translate them into strategic insights.
• Familiarity with SQL and visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau).
• Program and project management experience with complex analytical initiatives.
• Excellent storytelling, executive communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Other: Collaborative, organized, and able to manage multiple analytics initiatives with minimal oversight.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in healthcare, PBM, or life sciences analytics.
• Consulting experience with firms such as Deloitte, ZS, IQVIA, or McKinsey.
• Familiarity with predictive modeling, data storytelling, or applied analytics frameworks.
