Job Summary
Hours: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday-Friday Under the direction of the ELOP Director, Superintendent, and/or Site Administrator, the ASES/ELO Coordinator is responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising the district’s after-school and expanded learning programs. The Coordinator oversees daily program operations, including staff supervision, student engagement, and compliance with ASES/ELOP grant requirements. This role ensures a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment that supports academic achievement and provides diverse enrichment opportunities for students.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in education or youth programs. Prior experience working in after-school or expanded learning programs preferred. Experience supervising staff preferred. Knowledge of ASES/ELO program requirements and youth development principles preferred. Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate learning strategies. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Proficient computer skills and familiarity with educational programs preferred. First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Must pass a background check and comply with all school policies and regulations
