Burns Logistics is seeking an experienced and decisive Logistics General Manager to take full ownership of operations and execute a strategic plan to significantly scale and diversify the business.
This is a role for a proven operator, not just a fleet manager, who can serve as a "Culture Quarterback" to elevate the team, instill operational discipline, and drive profitable growth.
Who You Are:
- An industry veteran with 5 years of management and 5 years in logistics/trucking.
- A Strong Operator who thinks in systems, processes, and capacity—not just dispatching.

Key Accountabilities:
- Strategic Growth: Provide leadership to achieve ambitious scaling and diversification goals.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee dispatch, ensure SOP compliance, and eliminate variability.
- Financial Ownership: Drive profitability, reviewing margin, cost-per-mile, and utilization metrics.
- Talent Leadership: Develop the team, reduce turnover, and ensure safety/DOT compliance.
Reporting to the COO, this role requires a proven ability to scale operations.
