Essential Functions:
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and stocked to support maximum technician productivity
- Move equipment safely and efficiently—between the lot, wash bay, and shop
- Support service techs by staging tools, parts, and units for jobs
- Assist with basic machine prep, cleanup, and light maintenance
- Coordinate with parts and service staff to streamline workflows
- Ensure customers' machines are returned looking sharp and ready to roll
- Assist service technicians with maintenance work as needed.
- Maintain and care for shop tools, equipment and vehicles, including cleaning and returning to original location after use.
- Power wash and clean equipment so it returned to the customer clean and without cosmetic defects.
- Clean the shop as needed including sweeping and mopping floors.
- Return all parts and materials not used per guidelines.
- Maintain safe practices and keep personal workspace in a safe order for yourself and others.
- Maintain record keeping as necessary, including collection of equipment information, serial number, hours, bale count, and/or working hours.
- Input a detailed repair story via time clock.
- Keep all records legible and in compliance with established methods.
- Perform ground/lot maintenance as needed, including mowing the lawn, moving equipment, grading the driveway and snow removal.
- Transport customers or pick up parts as needed.
- Complete all additional tasks required by the Service Manager, as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Load/Unload incoming equipment
Requirements:
Education / Experience:
· Ability to lift 50 pounds.
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, twist, and climb as needed.
· Ability and licensing to drive to other locations to work on equipment.
Competency:
· Support company policies and values as outlined the Company Handbook.
· Work the hours necessary to perform the job.
· Excellent communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
