Burning Tree Country Club is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-oriented Tennis Pro Shop Attendant to support daily Racquets operations and create an exceptional experience for Members and their guests.
This role serves as the central point of contact for the Tennis program, managing court reservations, lesson bookings, retail sales, and daily communication. The Tennis Pro Shop Attendant plays a key role in maintaining a welcoming, organized, and professional environment while supporting the Racquets Professional Staff.

The Essentials (Core Responsibilities)
- Create a friendly, welcoming environment for Members, their children, and guests
- Manage court reservations and lesson bookings using the Racquets reservation system
- Handle daily phone calls and email communication for the Tennis Shop
- Provide retail assistance and maintain Tennis Shop merchandise and presentation
- Support Tennis Professionals and staff with administrative and operational needs
- Assist with inventory tracking and monthly shop organization
- Perform light tennis maintenance duties and assist with court setup when needed
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Tennis Shop and surrounding areas
- Support reporting and administrative tasks as assigned
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
- Deliver exceptional customer service in all interactions
- Demonstrate reliability, energy, and willingness to go above and beyond
- Communicate effectively with Members, staff, and leadership
- Maintain organization and accuracy in scheduling and administrative tasks
- Adapt to changing priorities and support team needs
- Contribute positively to the Racquets team culture
The Standards (Qualifications & Professional Conduct)
- High School or College students encouraged to apply
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Tennis or racquets experience preferred
- Computer literacy (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to learn and manage reservation systems (e.g., Kourts)
- Basic administrative and bookkeeping skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability
- Familiarity with racquet stringing is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Polite, enthusiastic, patient, and well-spoken demeanor; ability to communicate professionally with Members and staff
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, including desk and computer work
- Ability to lift and move tennis supplies and merchandise up to 20 pounds
- Ability to move between indoor and outdoor work environments
