This is a hands-on position that works outdoors in all aspects of golf course maintenance. Seasonal Groundskeepers play a critical role in maintaining the high standards and pristine conditions that define Burning Tree Country Club.

The Essentials (Core Responsibilities)
- Assist with daily golf course setup, including tee markers, hole locations, and course accessories
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, raking bunkers, and debris removal
- Maintain greens, fairways, roughs, and surrounding landscape areas
- Assist with irrigation monitoring and basic adjustments
- Support agronomic practices such as aerification, topdressing, seeding, and fertilization
- Operate and maintain golf course equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance facilities and equipment
- Assist with special projects and course improvements as assigned
- Arrive on time and ready to work early morning shifts
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all assigned tasks
- Follow all safety procedures and equipment operation guidelines
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Maintain a professional attitude and positive work ethic
- Adapt to changing priorities based on course needs and weather conditions
- Take direction from supervisors and communicate effectively with team members
- Contribute to maintaining the high standards of course conditions expected at BTCC
Education & Experience
- Previous golf course, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required
- Interest in turf management or outdoor work environments is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Basic mechanical awareness (equipment operation experience preferred)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and walking
