Qualifications
- Previous experience in an automotive parts department or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in using dealership management software and basic computer applications.
- Previous experience with CDK is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts and equipment.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
- Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and locating the correct parts and accessories for their vehicles.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked inventory of parts and accessories, ensuring that the parts department operates efficiently.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and promptly.
- Handle incoming parts shipments, verifying quantities and ensuring proper storage.
- Use dealership management software to track inventory levels, order parts, and manage customer information.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on parts and accessories, helping customers make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with the service and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate parts delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department, adhering to all safety protocols.
