Job Summary
Maintains a file of outstanding production orders and informs management personnel concerning job progress. Checks production schedule, verifies progress of jobs, and informs supervisor concerning any variations. Develop finishing schedules, ensuring the most efficient means of production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Works closely with Manufacturing and Customer Service to satisfy customers’ “Requested Ship Date” when possible.
- Checks and continually revises schedules; verifies progress of jobs; informs supervisor of any variance from production schedule.
- Develops and revises scheduling procedure.
- Responds to requests from Account Coordinators, Product Segment Supervisors, Finishing Supervisors, and/or Vice President of Manufacturing concerning schedule status.
- May determine shipping priorities from schedule sheet, and inform inspection, finishing, and shipping departments when necessary.
- Analyze X-Status, Unscheduled OEM, Expedited, Back Order, 5-Day, and Daily Ship reports to determine production, finishing, and shipping priority.
- Develop and implement Daily Work Center schedules.
- Delivers supplementary instructions to production personnel when necessary.
- Understands and implements all safety standards in all job duties performed in this role.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
- Minimum requirement of 3 years master schedule experience in production and manufacturing.
Salary : $64,000 - $85,000
