What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hand Lay-up position at Burlington Graphic Systems, Inc.?
Basic Function Combine individual die cut parts onto one liner with the assistance of production fixtures.
Specific Duties
- Set of fixtures in order to run parts.
- Verify colors (using color deck and P.D.#) are correct per job jacket.
- Apply individual die cut parts, (according to customer requirements), to premask without bubbles or wrinkles.
- Remove scrap liner and carefully apply finish liner.
- Clean up setup when specific job is complete.
- Record date and quantity and initial operation on job jacket.
- Count and package completed parts.
- Required to pull artwork in the morning for the Art Department.
- Return artwork to appropriate file by customer name and number.
- See that all artwork remains in protective jackets.
- Keep immediate work area clean and orderly.
- Do all other duties as assigned.
