Press Assistant

Basic Function Feed stock in a manner in which variation is within acceptable tolerances.

Specific Duties

• Set-up of feed system of presses.
• Continue running jobs in the absence of the operator.
• Preparing production stock to maximize efficiency.
• Assist Operator with the approval process.
• Have a working knowledge of all press control panels.
• Maintain and complete any company documents.
• Assist Operator with preventative maintenance when necessary.
• Assist Operator to ensure that finished job meets customer specifications.   (adjustments to press)
• Keep immediate work area clean and orderly.
• Do all other duties as assigned.
