What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Assistant position at Burlington Graphic Systems, Inc.?
Basic Function Feed stock in a manner in which variation is within acceptable tolerances.
Specific Duties
- Set-up of feed system of presses.
- Continue running jobs in the absence of the operator.
- Preparing production stock to maximize efficiency.
- Assist Operator with the approval process.
- Have a working knowledge of all press control panels.
- Maintain and complete any company documents.
- Assist Operator with preventative maintenance when necessary.
- Assist Operator to ensure that finished job meets customer specifications. (adjustments to press)
- Keep immediate work area clean and orderly.
- Do all other duties as assigned.
