What You’ll Do
- Serve as project manager and technical resource for water and wastewater projects, managing budgets, schedules, and risk on assigned projects
- Lead the planning and design of water/wastewater projects that could include designs of wastewater collection system sewers, lift stations, force mains, treatment facilities, booster stations and/or studies of wastewater and water systems
- Support project delivery from kickoff through closeout, maintaining quality and contributing to strong client experiences through clear communication and on-time, on-budget execution
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients while supporting pursuit of new opportunities
- Support development of statements of qualifications, proposals, and presentations for business development efforts
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute work using traditional and alternative project delivery methods
- Mentor and develop junior engineering staff in design and project delivery
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program required
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the state of employment, or ability to be registered with reciprocity
- 8 years of experience in water/wastewater collection, distribution, pumping systems, storage, treatment, and utility infrastructure design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD Civil 3D, REVIT; hydraulic modeling software is a plus
- Hydraulic modeling of collection systems and/or distribution systems is a plus
- Adaptable and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as a proactive approach to problem solving
