B&N Water/Wastewater Engineer, Entry Level Responsibilities
- Perform construction related services including construction observation, shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, and perform field inspections
- Complete daily reports and interact with owners and B&N project manager as needed for progress updates and non-conformance reports using iPad and MS office programs
- Coordinate with our project teams, internally and externally and participate in project field work for the collection of data, site assessments, field verifications and related functions
- Provide support for project managers and senior design engineers
- Perform tasks related to the design and construction of water/wastewater and utility infrastructure processes and facilities, including CAD drafting
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates
- Be available to travel to other offices and project sites to provide support as needed
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited program required
- Engineer Intern (EI) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months. Has a desire to become a PE
- 0-2 years of related water/wastewater experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus
- Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to utilize virtual collaboration tools
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
