Traffic Engineer

Come work alongside our Florida Traffic Team and collaborate with industry leaders in transportation. We are looking for Traffic Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL.

B&N Traffic Engineer Responsibilities

• Independently facilitate day-to-day production of traffic design (signing and pavement markings, signal, lighting and Intelligent Transportation Systems - ITS) and/or traffic studies projects
• Work collaboratively with project and design team to develop and prepare project deliverables to meet project objectives, schedule and budget
• Work as part of a project team, collaborating with industry leaders in transportation
• Position will provide the opportunity to work on challenging FDOT (Districts 1, 2, 5, and 7) and local municipality projects, with the opportunity to manage task work orders and project budgets
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program
• PE registration in the State of Florida
• 4 years of progressive technical experience plan development for traffic engineering design projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microstation, OpenRoads and/or Civil3D. Knowledge of Vissim a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
