B&N Roadway Engineer Responsibilities
B&N Roadway Engineer Responsibilities
- Perform engineering design and production of roadway projects for public agencies including Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), Maricopa County, and others. ADOT project experience is preferred.
- Prepare construction document deliverables including plans, specifications, and estimates.
- Maintain quality control of the work products and successfully complete projects on time and within budget
- Collaborate with professional engineers within B&N’s Arizona operations and across the firm
- Create an exemplary client experience throughout project delivery
- Provide training, coaching, and mentoring for developing staff
- Participate in strategic business planning for our Arizona operations, development of client relationship assignments, and assessment of new business opportunities
- Represent B&N in meetings
- Monitor project performance indicators, including schedules and budgets
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering programs
- PE registration in the State of Arizona required or the ability to obtain through reciprocity
- Minimum 4 years of related experience
- Proven project delivery with strong interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving client, project, and industry needs
- Ability to work remotely based on business operations and the needs of the firm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency with CADD software (i.e. OpenRoads Designer) expected for work with Arizona public agencies
