Supported and mentored by a team of technical experts and project managers to design and produce plans for a variety transportation design projects for the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT).
Responsibilities
- As part of a project team, collaborate on plan production to produce high quality plans, specifications that follow INDOT standards and guidelines
- Manage and coordinate project drawings using Microstation, InRoads software
- Complete design tasks and produce high quality plans, specifications, and estimate deliverables to create an exemplary client experience
- Collaborate with engineering staff on technical challenges while adhering to task performance indicators, budgets, and schedules
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Associate’s degree or college training may be substituted for some, but not all 10 years of relevant experience
- INDOT Utility Coordination Certification preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering design and production software (MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD and Civil3D)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
- Self-motivated and adaptable to evolving client, project, and industry needs
