Burgess & Niple is currently seeking a Alternative Delivery - Senior Project Manager to manage and lead projects utilizing alternative delivery methods including Design-Build (DB), Progressive Design-Build (PDB), Construction Manager to Construct (CMc), Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP),Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC) and Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT). Role will focus on Indiana based projects with opportunities to support other states as needed. Project management and technical lead could also include traditional design-bid-build projects.

B&N Alternative Delivery - Senior Project Manager Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain client relationships with INDOT, counties, municipalities, and contractors throughout Indiana.
- Develop and maintain client relationships outside of Indiana where opportunities arise.
- Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation
- Provide technical expertise, workload staffing and overall guidance on alternative delivery projects.
- Provide expertise in alternative delivery contract development and risk management tailored to state and local agency requirements
- Support proposal development for alternative delivery projects
- Monitor project performance indicators, budgets, and schedules
- Develop scopes of work and budgets aligned with state and local government funding mechanisms and constraints
- Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Stay current with Indiana-specific state code and local agency procurement rules, funding sources, and approval processes
- Represent B&N at state and local government meetings, regional conferences, utility board meetings and municipal marketing functions
- Support business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new opportunities with clients
- Mentor junior staff members on alternative delivery methodologies and practices for state and local government clients
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
- Indiana PE registration is required, or the ability to obtain through reciprocity
- 10 years of demonstrated experience with project management in state, municipal or county infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of Indiana state code and local government procedures, particularly procurement processes for alternative delivery
- Knowledge of state and local agency funding sources, including grants, bonds, and state programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts to local officials
- Strong leadership abilities and team collaboration skills
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and project risks for local agency projects
- Understanding of contract structures and risk allocation in alternative delivery models for local governments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
