Description
The Paramedic performs various emergency patient care activities according to the skills and capabilities of an EMT-P according to the State Prehospital Care Legislation on the ambulance. May also work in the hospital emergency room and respiratory therapy.
A high school diploma. Certification as an EMT-P, completion of examination by the State of Iowa, BCLS certification annually, ACLS biannually. Valid chauffeur’s license required. Previous experience helpful, but not required.
This is a full-time position.
