Description
The LISW will play a vital role in supporting the mental and emotional well-being of individuals, families, and communities in a rural healthcare setting. This position involves conducting psychosocial assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to patients across the lifespan.
As part of an integrated care team, the LISW will collaborate closely with primary care providers, nurses, and other behavioral health professionals to ensure coordinated, whole-person care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to serving underserved populations and possess the clinical skills necessary to address a wide range of behavioral health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and adjustment disorders.
Must have Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program. Active LISW license in Iowa. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred. Experience working in rural or medically underserved settings is a plus. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills.
This is a full-time position based out of the Mapleton Clinic location, but will be working in both Sloan and Mapleton Clinics.
