Description
The Home Health and Hospice Aide performs uncomplicated nursing services for home health/hospice patients under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Education: Must have successfully completed a home health training and competency evaluation or competency evaluation. 75 hour CNA training or 75 hour homemaker/home health aide training preferred. Competency testing may also be done by Burgess Home Health/Hospice. Previous health care experience considered with additional agency competency training.
Experience: Experience working with people helpful.
Alternative to Minimum Qualifications: Non-high school graduate may be considered. Alternate experience may be considered.
This is a PRN, scheduled as needed, position.
