Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using proper cleaning techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and supplies to support the culinary team.
• Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware and utensils are clean and ready for use.
• Follow food handling safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Help with general cleaning duties throughout the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service hours.
• Restock dishware, utensils, and supplies as needed to maintain inventory levels for daily operations.

Skills

• Strong understanding of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in bussing tables or supporting food service operations is a plus.
• Familiarity with food preparation, cooking support, or kitchen cleaning tasks.
• Previous banquet or catering experience is advantageous for supporting large-scale events.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaborative work.
