AM Cashier/Counter Server

Duties

• Operate cash registers and POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments while maintaining precise cash register operations and balancing tills at shift end
• Greet customers warmly, take food orders, and serve with enthusiasm to ensure a positive dining experience
• Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, including basic food handling and operating kitchen equipment to support kitchen staff
• Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper food handling procedures
• Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service
• Support food service operations by bussing tables, managing customer orders, and ensuring timely delivery of food items

Skills

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food industry knowledge
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; ability to process cash transactions accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and assist with light food preparation when necessary

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
