Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare and assemble food items according to established standards, maintaining high levels of food safety and sanitation.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with basic math skills.
• Upsell menu items to maximize sales and enhance guest satisfaction by recommending popular or new offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, including bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
• Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations accurately.
• Experience in cashiering, upselling, or sales techniques will be advantageous.
• Capable of standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment; kitchen or café experience is beneficial. Pay: $20.20 - $24.33 per hour
