Position Overview
Burdlife Jewelry is seeking a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Key Holder to support daily store operations while delivering an elevated client experience through piercing services and permanent jewelry applications. This leadership role is responsible for assisting management with store operations, team support, sales performance, and maintaining Burdlife brand standards.
The ideal candidate is passionate about jewelry, fashion, customer relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Store Operations
- Open and close the store independently, following company procedures
- Product knowlege
- Strong seller
- Support store management with daily operations and team accountability
- Lead by example in customer service, professionalism, and sales performance
- Assist with training and coaching team members on Burdlife standards and client experience
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards
- Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
- Support inventory management, shipment processing, and restocking
Ear Sytling & Permanent Jewelry Services
- Perform ear styling/mapping sessions following Burdlife sanitation and safety standards
- Apply and weld permanent jewelry pieces, including bracelets, anklets, and necklaces
- Educate customers on piercing aftercare and jewelry care
- Help clients curate jewelry styling and stack recommendations
- Ensure all tools, stations, and service areas remain sanitized and organized
Sales & Customer Experience
- Build strong relationships with customers and create a welcoming environment
- Meet individual and store sales goals
- Promote current launches, events, and promotions
- Assist with in-store events, private parties, and pop-up experiences
- Support social media content creation when needed
Qualifications
- Previous retail leadership, key holder, or management experience preferred
- Experience in jewelry, beauty, piercing, or fashion retail is a plus
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable performing hands-on services and working closely with clients
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Weekend and holiday availability required
