Role Overview
We are hiring an Assistant Store Manager to help lead our Nashville boutique. You will support the Store Manager in store operations, staff development, and sales strategy — while ensuring every customer interaction reflects the BURDLIFE brand. You’ll also participate in our piercing apprenticeship program, with the opportunity to grow into a lead piercer.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Stylists with daily operations and team leadership
- Provide personalized customer service and elevate the BURDLIFE experience
- Help train, mentor, and schedule staff
- Contribute to hitting and exceeding sales goals
- Manage inventory, restocking, and visual merchandising
- Participate in jewelry sales, permanent jewelry application, and ear piercings
- Commit to the piercing apprenticeship program (1-year commitment, with advancement into a lead role)
- Step into leadership responsibilities in the Store Manager’s absence
- Ensure brand standards in cleanliness, tone, and presentation
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of retail experience, preferably in fashion or jewelry
- Strong people skills, a team-first attitude, and attention to detail
- A passion for jewelry, fashion, and customer engagement
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling
- Interest in becoming a trained and certified piercer through BURDLIFE’s program
