Job Summary
We're a small country gift shop attached to a bistro in the center of Enosburg, right on the park. We're looking for a motivated person to come help us refresh our store and bring it back to life. We've been so busy in our bistro that the store has lagged. We're eager to make it a cool place to hang out in once again. We have a coffee counter, a candy counter, a houseplant area, and handmade things made all over with a focus on Vermont. If you're a positive person, creative, courageous, a people person, love to make drinks, aren't shy when it comes to hard work and moving displays around, and have intiaitive so we don't have to micromange you, then apply! We'd like to chat with you and see about a future together. Meals included with each shift over 4 hours.
Duties
- Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
- Manage consignment records and cash handling procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Oversee inventory control, pricing, and stock replenishment to ensure product availability and optimal store presentation.
- Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions, and performance evaluations to promote growth and engagement.
- Utilize our Square POS system for sales transactions, returns, and data analysis to inform operational decisions.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and store standards.
Pay: $36,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
