What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lower School Administrative Assistant position at Bullis School?
Bullis School seeks a Lower School Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to the Lower School. Serving as the first point of contact for students, parents, faculty, and visitors, this individual helps create a welcoming and efficient office environment while supporting the Head of Lower School and other administrators in the daily operations of the division. Responsibilities include managing calendars and communications, supporting office operations, coordinating mailings, scheduling substitutes, tracking faculty leave, maintaining attendance and student records, and assisting with field trips, parent conferences, and other Lower School events. This full-time, 10-month position reports to the Head of Lower School and requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities while supporting a responsive and student-centered school community.

Education and Experience
- High School diploma
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, cloud computing, student information systems (Veracross), Canva, mail merging, and other productivity and media software
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- Prior experience working in a school setting
