What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook position at BULL RIVER MARINA?
The Burger Boat , docked at Bull River Marina, is looking for a Part-Time cook. Can lead to more full time work as business picks up in the season. This is a FOOD TRUCK ON THE WATER, so keep in mind you will be on a boat that occasionally leaves the dock and serves On Location at other docks or in the river.
Responsibilities
- Opening duties -Set up and clean workstations
- Food prep and inventory and closing duties stowing away and icing food down at end of day
- Follow the menu recipes and prep Daily Specials when applicable
- Must be able to run POS in absence of expo/window
- Maintain DHEC, FDA, and DHS (ServSafe) health standards and clean equipment
Qualifications
- Must have three years cooking/chef experience behind the line!
- MUST be a "personality". This Food Truck position is open window so customers will be engaging with you.
- NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL used onsite or before work. You are on a BOAT
- Ability to create specials and new menu items if asked - know your recipes and sauces
