What The Position is About:
- Oversee the multifamily business unit, providing leadership across sales, manufacturing, engineering, project management, and product development
- Lead and manage design/engineering teams and estimating teams responsible for producing project shop drawings, estimates, and quotes
- Apply and/or obtain Professional Engineer seals on submittals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with engineers, architects, contractors, building officials, and customers
- Contribute to new product development, software development, and other technical projects that support company growth
- Perform engineering calculations and technical analysis as needed
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of estimates, shop drawings, submittals, and take-offs
- Maintain ownership of multifamily projects from design and estimating through project completion
- Partner with the sales team to help secure contracts and convert outstanding quotes
- Obtain and maintain Professional Engineering seals in key states as needed
- Develop and contribute to continuing education materials for engineering, building officials, and contractors
The Right Candidate Will Have:
- Civil engineering leadership experience
- Excellent people management, communication, and organizational skills
- Tech-forward thinking and experience with Revit and Microsoft Office
- Sales support experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred but not required
