Your Role & Responsibilities

As a key member of our Sun Valley branch, you will be the front-line contact for our customers. This is an active, on-site sales position:

  • Drive Sales: Handle a high volume of inbound inquiries (phone/walk-ins), quickly provide product information and pricing quotes, and efficiently close sales on fencing materials.
  • Build Relationships: Act as the trusted advisor for contractors, cultivating positive, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Proactive Selling: Follow up on all pending quotes and proactively reach out to prospective or dormant customers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Order Management: Accurately process orders, manage all necessary details, and coordinate closely with the yard/operations team to ensure timely delivery and superior customer satisfaction.
  • Problem-Solving: Work collaboratively with the entire team to quickly resolve issues and meet complex customer needs.

What We Require (The Ideal Candidate)

  • Required: Proven Inside Sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Preferred: Experience in the building materials, construction, or fencing wholesale industry.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly driven, competitive, and accountable. You take ownership of your results and manage your time effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Customer-Focused: Exceptional communication skills and a genuine desire to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Team Player: Positive attitude, professional maturity, and a willingness to collaborate and support the team. (No drama or politics—we win together!)
  • Organized: Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a busy, fast-paced distribution center environment.
