Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an AAU Program/Sports Director at our Westwood, NJ location. The role involves overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of sports programs, leagues, and coaching sessions. The Director will recruit and manage coaching staff, develop training curriculums, and promote sportsmanship and skill development among participants. Additional responsibilities include liaising with families, ensuring program safety, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Physical Education, Sports Instruction, and Sports Management
- Strong Communication, Leadership, and Organizational skills
- Experience in Coaching and mentoring athletes
- Knowledge of team building, sports safety protocols, and fostering teamwork
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or related field
- Prior experience in managing sports leagues or programs is advantageous
- Passion for youth development, sports, and community engagement
