Ground-Up Restaurant Superintendent

Location: Miami-Dade, Broward & Palm Beach County, FL

Salary: Around $130,000 benefits

About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Ground-Up Superintendent to oversee restaurant construction projects throughout South Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ground-up commercial construction, with direct experience building restaurants or similar hospitality/retail projects from sitework through completion.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on Superintendent who enjoys leading projects in the field and working with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and project management teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day field operations for ground-up restaurant construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and site logistics.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
• Oversee quality control, safety, and compliance with plans and specifications.
• Conduct subcontractor coordination meetings and daily site walks.
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and ownership/client teams.
• Identify and resolve field issues quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within established quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction.
• Proven experience with ground-up construction.
• Restaurant, hospitality, retail, or similar commercial construction experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and subcontractor management.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project momentum.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Procore experience is a plus.
• Must be willing to travel between projects throughout Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County.
